APPRECIATING the LEO PETERS 2 FAMILY...because my late grandfather Leo Peters was the first to trademark the "Butterball" name (which he later sold to the turkey company ie armour, but retained the rights to use the name for his butter factory, ie butterball farms,) and was also involved in various meat endeavors, and my memories of Thanksgiving revolve around a big meal at the "butterball mansion" I am adding a thanksgiving section to this blog!

: Now I get it! Barb Peters was a '60s child
:
No wonder she's a far- left Lefty.
I was looking at some old Calvin archives and I came across this Chimes and I was looking at the Paul Schrader name then I looked a few names down and I saw Barbara Peters, a relative of mine.
Dear Linda,
So your sister Barb was on the same Chimes staff as Paul Schrader and we know how Lefty liberal he is - even making Hollywood movies that mocked the CRC.
So that sheds a little light on her behavior at the funeral when I mentioned Charlie Kirk (she stood up and walked away from the table saying "I'm not a follower"). ( All I did was mention that I was at a library near somewhere where I was traveling when I heard the news about Charlie Kirk. )
Although it still doesn't really explain or justify it in my mind if you can't even be sympathetic towards a person who was killed. Or denounce The act of killing such a person no matter what side of the political aisle you're on.
I guess I always assumed the Peters sisters, daughters of Leo Peters, were mostly conservative because of their father, but maybe I assumed completely wrongly.
By the way all the Peter sisters also attended GRCH.
