for those who are familiar with the Leo Peters family, as well as the Timmer-Kok family, you may know that Rev Gareth Kok's wife Kathryn died young; and later Gareth remarried to Ada Timmer (whose first husband John also died young).
Gareth had several children from his first marriage to Kathryn, and Ada had several children from her first marriage to John. One of the children of Gareth & Kathryn was Jim Kok. And one of the daughters of Leo & Helen Peters was Linda (by the way, Linda's mom Helen also died at a young age & her father remarried later and had 3 more children from his 2nd marriage) Lo and behold, Linda & Jim met and married.
It's a small world (especially if you grew up in the Dutch CRC). Note; Jim recently passed away at age 90 in February 2026, rest-in-peace.
