APPRECIATING the LEO PETERS 2 FAMILY...because my late grandfather Leo Peters was the first to trademark the "Butterball" name (which he later sold to the turkey company ie armour, but retained the rights to use the name for his butter factory, ie butterball farms,) and was also involved in various meat endeavors, and my memories of Thanksgiving revolve around a big meal at the "butterball mansion" I am adding a thanksgiving section to this blog!

Here our prayer lord father son holy spirit for jimlinn on a trip across the usa to attend funeral of nancy peters with all the history & baggage & perverted "justice" ,or lack of, that has transpired overtime ....as they do ministry to the peters2 family we pray lord that the death of nancy be not in vain...that jim Lin can use this moment & opportunity to minister to the peters2 family and to try to effectuate justice for so many aggrieved by what has transpired in the peters soap opera saga ....we pray lord that You give wisdom to jimlin ....as they attempt to effectuate justice by the power of the holy spirit so that kids and grandkids and even great grandkids will have a sense of equality & fairness & righteousness closer to what You represent ,hear our prayer, Father Son and Holy Spirit we pray

Thanks- GETTING... I myself have weaned myself off the notion that I must stuff my face with good food on this national holiday, and spend time simply being thankful, looking for ways to be kind to others. Can we all be a little more nice today? It's OK to eat a nice meal, but also remember to truly GIVE thanks.

RIP re my STEP-GRANDMA "Nancy Peters Obituary" (2nd wife of Butterball Farms Founder, the late Leo Peters)

SHE was my grandfather Leo Peters 2nd wife, so not really my grandma, but sort of, albeit she never really had any affection for us as our real grandma normally would have (had she lived long enough)...; nonetheless we had a few nice times with her at the cottage & a few other holiday events,
...as a Christian my main concern is for the repose of her soul...I know she was involved with the church but I don't know how much she grew as a Christian in terms of love for others, or love for the kids & grandkids from the 1st family (ie Peters I family) . But I don't want to rehash all that crazy stuff that I've tried to forget about...

being back in holland Michigan and by the lighthouse reminds me of my childhood growing up in west Michigan and visiting "grandpa's cottage" in the summer...we had LOTS of fun, good times, with the Peters from the 2nd family... (mark, ani, teri) ...thoughts & prayers for them...I also just heard that one of the cottage neighbors, Kim Westrate, passed away from cancer a few years ago...so sad, nice family. greetings thoughts & prayers to the Westrates.
